Protogrove of the Shenandoah

   Trudy Peterson is our scribe and also serves as Secretary for the Northern Shenandoah Valley Pagan Alliance. Trudy is employed in the legal field and uses that experience and her education in the areas of Paralegal Studies, Environmental Science, Public Policy and Political Science to further community awareness and education. She
enjoys putting these skills to use for the benefit of the community. 

   Trudy found herself drawn to nature at an early age. Her favorite memories include finding a log on which to sit in the woods, close her eyes, and the ability to feel as if she was one with nature. Never completely content with the "non-answers" given to her questions at mainstream churches, she was thrilled when she discovered earth religions during a course in ethics at a local college. After some scholarly exploration of the topic she found that this was what she had been searching for. While still participating in the ADF Dedicant`s program, she joined as one of the founding members of GOTS. It was during the dedicant's program she made the realization that her escapes to the woods as a child were nothing short of the Two Powers Mediation and that the ways of a Druid came naturally to her.
